My four favorite ways to relax ( totally guilt-free)
I've officially been in post-grad life for about a week now. It's relaxing, but also a little boring. Actually, incredibly boring at times. I honestly wished I planned a vacation or something, but honestly, it's nice to just whole-heartedly relax. How many other times in life will I get this luxury?
There are no more classes to attend, RA meetings to go to, or articles to write. My remote internship hasn't started yet, so I'm left to do nothing. I'm choosing gratitude at this point, but sometimes having a super slim to-do list feels a little daunting. Like, what am I supposed to do for the entire day? It's something I'm still trying to figure out and master, but lately, this is what you can find me doing when I'm not browsing Instagram lol (not sorry.)
Listening to an informative Podcast
Podcasts have been the wave, and if you haven't joined... what are you doing? I love career oriented pods because I value the stories of successful career women. It's such a learning experience to me to hear a snippet of another woman's journey to success, it makes me work harder and understand that I too am worthy of success. My absolute favorite career women podcasts are Myliek Teele's Podcast, Girlboss Radio, The Influencer Podcast and The Mattie James Show.
Watching YouTube
Anyone who knows me knows this is my favorite pass time. I barely watch Netflix or Hulu, I generally prefer watching vlogs. It's just something about watching something real. I feel like sometimes I waste a lot of time doing this, but I really just enjoy discovering new things. I've learned so much about productivity and very important lifehacks. It doesn't matter if I want to try a new hairstyle or if I want to learn more about Google Analytics. YouTube has it all, and I will continue to believe these vids will improve my life overall.

Doing an at-home workout
Haven't done this the whole break (but I'm working on it.) It's always difficult for me to get in a #workout mood, but if I am.. I prefer an at-home workout session. I just look up a cardio dancing video or an abs workout on YouTube. Honestly, it's just easier if you don't have to leave the house (and I know some of you can agree.)
Reading a digital publication
I'm a journalist at heart, so to write better...I have to read, period. As a journalist, you have to stay up to date on what's new, what's trending, and what is great writing. I personally have a niche in fashion, beauty, and culture, so that's what I choose to read. Reading digital publications is also how I get a lot of ideas for Festivelyfaith and other publications I contribute to.

My favorite way to relax is to look at the flowers in my flower garden.
