Hey, I'm back! Let's stay positive and stay motivated!

Heyyy babes!

I'm back. It seems like I'm always making this kind of post lol. But this time I haven't been posting because of the obvious elephant in the room. Many of you know the virus that is currently taking over the world. I honestly don't want this post to talk all about that, because it's already all over the news. But I have to address this. As a result of the virus, I'm currently working from home and stuck at home until further notice.

It was just released today, that we should continue social distancing until April 30. Honestly, I'm a little sad about this because that means we'll still be social distancing on my birthday. It's a selfish thought, I know, but I'm still super bummed out. One thing that was keeping my spirits high was the thought that this will all hopefully be over by my birthday. Now, it seems we still have ways to go. But to be honest, I'm willing to do any little thing I can to help the world become a safe place again.

Through 2 weeks of social distancing, I've gained so much gratitude over the little things we often take for granted. Such as how much I enjoy going to work and seeing my co-workers, heading to brunch or events on weekends, and most of all my secret trips to McDonald's on weekends to grab a sausage McMuffin and a hash brown ( I know I can still go to McDonald's but it's honestly not worth the risk anymore lol.) I also really miss my boyfriend. For those who don't know, my boyfriend and I are long distance. He lives in Ohio, and I live in Michigan. We see each other at least once a month, and as of right now, I don't know when I'm going to see him because of all the craziness. There's so much that has changed, and I don't think any of us could have imagined 2020 turning out like this.

2020 has pushed me, challenged me, and brought upon lots of twists and turns during this 1st quarter, but I'm determined to keep going despite the craziness. Honestly, my blogging career has slowed down, and I think that's because I've slowed down. I've used work as an excuse. Tiredness as an excuse. And now the virus as an excuse. But today, I decided that nothing will work if you don't. I decided that I've got to keep pushing through. I've got to keep going and creating. Because honestly at this point, that's the only thing that's going to keep my sanity.

So this is more of a welcome back message because despite what is going on in the world, we still gotta keep it festive!

Good night babes,

Faith
