Festive Week in my Life #2: Blogger Bash, WFH Days, and DUNKIN!

Hey everyone!

I'm back this week with another FESTIVE WEEK IN MY LIFE! And it was certainly a week of lots of highlights and lowlights, but your girl made it through.

The week started out on Sunday with me attending Femology's Blogger Bash. It was honestly some of the most fun I've had at a blogger event in a while. The energy was so great, and there were so many bloggers I knew in attendance. The event was held at AKIRA, and it was my first time at the new store in Michigan. It was the cutest store, with lots of Instagrammable moments so that was a plus!  At the event, there were two blogger chats from blogger girls, Isabela and Kaylena. I've known these two for a few months now from past blogger events, but to hear their journeys and how they grew their following was truly inspiring. Go follow them if you're not already.

Collaboration over competition always! So much love for the Detroit blogger community
On Monday, it was Veteran's day, so it was nice to have a day off. I worked on some freelance projects and responded to some Instagram comments on my job's page. It was overall a really relaxing day, and I was refreshed to start the workweek. It snowed a lot this day, so I just stayed at home because it was way too much to try to go outside.

Tuesday was a surprise work from home day because the roads were so bad. Not sure why winter came early in Michigan, but I'm not really here for it. But it was nice to have another work from home day in the week. I went to Starbucks for a while, but got cold because people kept coming in and out so I left to go lay under my warm blankets at home lol.

On Wednesday, I worked from home as usual and also went to Tropical Smoothie for a working lunch. I got the Chipotle Chicken flatbread and it was so fire. I got a good amount of work done, and also caught up on watching some YouTube videos that day. I've still been loving Brooke Miccio's video's she's just so relatable at this point in my life.

On Thursday, I returned to work in the office and got caught up on a lot of work. It was a pretty normal day, except I did break one of my nails in the morning trying to open my car door. It was #tragic. Also, I had chicken egg rolls for lunch that were sooo amazing!

Friday was an off day, and I spent the morning shooting some content for a Dunkin campaign about their Beyond Sausage Sandwich. My Mom and I went at about 10:00 AM, and shot the content and then ate before returning home. We also went to the mall for a little retail therapy because,  PAYDAY!!

Have you tried the Beyond Sausage Sandwich??

On Saturday, I spent the morning at home catching up on some freelance projects before hanging out with my brother downtown. We went to Granite City and then ended up at Walmart randomly. It was great to see him because it's been a while. I'm glad we're still able to make time for each other, even though he no longer lives with us at my parent's house.

And that's honestly about it. I'll catch up with you guys next week!
